body

Background:

The City of Manteca’s Police Department signed an agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. in July 2025 for OSP 10+ which is a comprehensive package of technology solutions designed to enhance officer safety and efficiency in law enforcement. Our current 5-year agreement with Axon Enterprise Inc. for OSP 7+ has concluded and this new agreement will take its place.  The Axon platform seamlessly integrates police equipment including the new Body Worn Camera 4’s, Taser 10’s and the storage of their associated evidence. Axon provides equipment refreshes at no additional cost to the city when the included equipment becomes obsolete, which has provided the city with the ability to maintain a supply of advanced technology.
