Pavement Maintenance Program 2025 Update |
Recommendation:
title
Receive an annual update on the Pavement Maintenance Program and provide direction regarding Council priorities.
body
Background:
In February 2023, staff shared the results of the 2023 Pavement Condition Index Study. Council articulated the importance of having both a preventative and corrective Pavement Maintenance Program. Staff was directed to develop a list of pavement improvement projects and report back for City Council feedback and direction.
On October 1, 2024, Council provided direction to staff to prioritize funding for certain roadway sections based on Council’s priority projects. Since then, multiple roadway priority projects have been completed by either the Public Works or Engineering Department. For clarity, and ease of discussion completed project(s) have been removed and separate tables have been created to segregate the active and future projects which need to be prioritized.
