Background:

On January 6, 2026, the City Council approved a Purchase and Sale Agreement (Agreement) for the acquisition of the Manteca Bedquarters Building and adjacent parking lot located at 103, 107, and 113/115 West Yosemite Avenue in the amount of $1,200,000. Since that time, the City has completed its inspection and due diligence period, and the Seller has fulfilled its obligations outlined in the Agreement.

 

Staff has confirmed that all required improvements have been completed per the Agreement. Closing documents have been prepared, and the Grant Deed has been executed by the Seller.

 

Following Council approval, the Grant Deed will be recorded with San Joaquin County, finalizing the transfer of ownership of the property to the City of Manteca.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
