Adopt a resolution approving the acceptance of a grant from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in the amount of $75,000 for the fiscal year 2025-2026, authorizing budget amendments as necessary and authorize Chief of Police Stephen Schluer to sign said agreement.

Background:
The Police Department has been awarded a grant in the amount of $75,000 from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. These funds will be used to reduce the number of calls at establishments and reduce the number of alcohol involved crimes. This will be done through a combination of education, training, and enforcement.
Fiscal Impact:
Staff recommends revenue and expenditure appropriations of $75,000 in the Police Grants Fund (Fund 150). Funding for the grant will be on a reimbursement basis. The expenditures will fund $69,500 in overtime, $2,500 in supplies, and $3,000 for training. There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund.
