Adopt a resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Capital Improvement Program to include the South Main Street Improvements Project and assign a new Capital Improvement Project Number; approving the California Environmental Quality Act Notice of Exemption determination; approving the Plans; approving an appropriation of $500,000.00 from PFIP Transportation to the new Capital Improvement Project; and authorizing the City Manager or designee to take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution (Exempt from CEQA pursuant to 14 Cal. Code Regs. ? 15301(c)).

Background:
The S. Main Street corridor from the Atherton Drive to Antone Raymus Parkway is actively being widened to its ultimate 4-lane configuration with 2 lanes in each direction. This configuration is in accordance with the City's Public Facilities Implementation Plan (PFIP).
Within that section of S. Main Street, the five-acre property at 2112 S. Main Street has not been included in any development projects to date likely in part due to its smaller size and the existing home on it. As such, S. Main Street abutting the frontage of this parcel, approximately 480 feet in length, has remained as a single traffic lane with no pedestrian facilities which creates a bottleneck for the vehicular traffic flow and a discontinuity for pedestrian traffic.
The City of Manteca South Main Street Improvements Project (Project) proposes to widen S. Main Street along the frontage of 2112 S. Main Street to address these deficiencies.
