Background:
The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) founded Engineers Week in 1951. The week is dedicated to recognizing engineers' contributions to society and to promoting interest in engineering careers. Engineers Week is celebrated annually in the week of George Washington's birthday. The theme for National Engineers Week in 2026 is "Transform your Future”.
The City of Manteca Engineering Department will be present to accept the Proclamation
