Waive the first reading by substitution of the title and adopt an ordinance amending Chapter 2.28 Recreation and Parks Commission Section 2.28.010.

Background:
At the June 8, 2021 City Council Special meeting, City Council requested staff to work with Manteca Unified School District (MUSD) to add an additional alternate member position to the Recreation and Parks Commission, to be appointed by MUSD. On March 15, 2022 under Ordinance O2022-08, City Council amended Manteca Municipal Code section 2.28.020 and authorized the additional alternate member position. With this authorization, the total number of members on the commission increased from six to seven.
City of Manteca Municipal Code section 2.28.010 currently reflects that the Commission is composed of six members. Staff requests that City Council amend section 2.28.010 to correctly reflect the Commission’s composition of seven members.
