Background:
In the month of April, we strive to promote Autism awareness, inclusion, and acceptance, and the City of Manteca is committed to providing equitable access to services, events and activities that support self-determination for all Autistic individuals. Autism impacts people regardless of race, ethnicity, and social-economic backgrounds. The City seeks to create a socially conscience community that values and celebrates the unique individuals within the ASD community which celebrates all kinds of minds.
The Proclamation will be presented to Monique Patton from Moms of Manteca, Vanessa Mendoza from Ivy League Speech Therapy Center and Manteca Police Department.
