Approve an amendment to Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Raney Planning and Management (Consultant) extending the deadline for continued preparation of the Climate Action Plan (CAP) Update.

Background:
The City of Manteca entered into an agreement with Raney Planning and Management for the preparation of a Climate Action Plan on July 24, 2023 (C2023-76).
City staff, with support from Raney Planning and Management, have worked with the Ad Hoc CAP Committee throughout the agreement period as part of the process to update the Climate Action Plan (CAP). A draft of the Climate Action Plan (CAP) is currently under review by City staff and Committee members. It will be released for public review and comment, along with the CEQA Initial Study, in June.
The amendment to the consultant agreement extends the term to June 30, 2026, with no changes to the budget or scope of work.
Fiscal Impact:
Sufficient funding for this contract is budgeted in Development Services (Fund 340).
There is no General Fund impact.
