Recommendation:

Adopt a resolution accepting a Grant Deed from Mario Antonio Silva and Nivia Maria Silva, his wife (Silva), for 1,574 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 1695 S. Main Street (APN 224-021-34).

Background:
As a Condition of Approval for the Griffin Park Subdivision, the Developer must install the frontage improvements along 1695 S. Main Street including roadway paving, sidewalk, curb and gutter. The frontage improvement installation is in accordance with the City’s adopted Transportation Public Facilities Implementation Plan.
To facilitate the installation of the frontage improvements, the Developer needed to acquire right-of-way, on the City’s behalf, on the west side of S. Main Street to widen the existing right-of-way.
With this action City Council will accept the dedication from Silva to facilitate installation of the frontage improvements.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
