Adopt a resolution accepting a Grant Deed from Galatia Aretakis et al, for 13,282 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes and 16,555 square feet for a Public Utility Easement over a portion of 1437 and 1533 S. Main Street (APN 224-021-17 and 224-021-16).

Background:
Per the Conditions of Approval for the Marketplace at Main Shopping Center, the Developer must install improvements along the S. Main Street frontage of 1437 and 1533 S. Main Street including roadway paving, sidewalk, curb and gutter. The improvements are in accordance with the City’s adopted Transportation Public Facilities Implementation Plan.
To facilitate the installation of the frontage improvements and joint trench utilities, the Developer needed to acquire right-of-way and a Public Utility Easement, on the City’s behalf, from the owner of 1437 and 1533 S. Main Street. The Developer worked with the property owner to obtain the needed right-of-way and the Public Utility Easement.
