body

Background:

Alejandro Becerra, age 10 started BMX Racing 3 years ago. Parents Oscar and Gabriela Bacerra introduced BMX racing to assist with socializing and getting involved in the community hoping that it would help with Alejandro’s Autism. BMX Racing not only helped Alejandro with socializing it also displayed his natural talent for the sport. Alejandro was invited to compete at R.O.C and not only did he qualify but took first place in his age group.

Race of Champion aka R.O.C is held annually on Thanksgiving Day at the Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This race is invite only, containing the top 10 racers from each age group, and proficiency of each state. Alejandro’s achievement is a great reminder that with hard work and dedication there is no obstacle to big that you cannot overcome and conquer.

Alejandro Becerra accompanied by his parents Oscar Becerra, Gabriela Becerra and sister Daniela Bacerra to accept certificate of recognition.
