Adopt a resolution accepting a Grant Deed from Sergio Flores, an Unmarried Man, for 2,060 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 149 W. Woodward Avenue (APN 224-021-37).

Background:

As a Condition of Approval for the Griffin Park Subdivision, the Developer must install the frontage improvements along the S. Main Street frontage of 149 W. Woodward Avenue and the northwest corner of the Main Street/Woodward Avenue intersection. The improvements include roadway paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and an accessibility ramp. The frontage improvement installation is in accordance with the City’s adopted Transportation Public Facilities Implementation Plan.

 

To facilitate the installation of the frontage improvements, the Developer needed to acquire right-of-way, on the City’s behalf, on the west side of S. Main Street to widen the existing right-of-way.

 

With this action City Council will accept the dedication from Sergio Flores to allow for installation of the frontage improvements.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
