Adopt a resolution authorizing Councilmember Jose Nuño to serve as the City Council representative for the Tri-Valley Regional Rail Manteca City Councilmember representative for the Tri-Valley Rail meeting of December 11, 2024.

Background:
Councilmember Nuño has been serving on the Tri Valley Rail Commission for the past 4 years as the Manteca City Council representative. With the current Election of November 5, 2024, being certified at the Special City Council Meeting on December 10, 2024. Jose Nuño would no longer be a sitting City Councilmember, City staff and staff of the Tri -Valley Regional Rail Commission request permission from the Manteca City Council to authorize Jose Nuño as the City of Manteca City Council representative at the Meeting of December 11, 2024.
City Council appointments will be placed on the City Council Regular meeting of December 17, 2024, to fill all Councilmember Nuño’s board vacancy’s and confirm all other appointments.

There is no fiscal impact.
