body

Background:

On July 15, 2021, the Planning Commission conditionally approved the Conditional Use Permit (UPN19-173) for the Manteca Storage Project. The project was conditioned to dedicate the south half of the right-of-way to widen the West Atherton Drive frontage to its full roadway section.  Improvements include the construction of an additional east bound traffic lane: the installation of curb, gutter, and sidewalk; installation of streetlights; the extension and installation of landscaping of the bike path on the north side of West Atherton Drive; and the installation of frontage and median landscaping.

The work to install these improvements is valued at $787,866.00.

Fiscal Impact:

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. Once the improvements are accepted by the City, the maintenance of the infrastructure will be the City’s responsibility, which will be funded through the development’s participation in a community facilities district or other funding mechanism.
