Background:
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is recognized nationally January 9, 2025. As frontline workers, our police department have taken on a very important role to protect and serve our community, putting themselves in potentially dangerous situations every day, to protect the welfare of Manteca.
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day began in 2015 to thank officers across the country for all the daily sacrifices they make for their communities.
The City of Manteca Police Department will be present to accept the Proclamation.
