Recommendation:

Adopt a resolution accepting all improvements for the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project CIP 23036 as complete, authorizing the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion, and authorizing the City Manager or designee to complete and execute all associated documents, and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.

Background:
On July 18, 2023, City Council awarded the construction contract C2023-196 for the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project CIP 23036 (Project) to DRYCO Construction, Inc. (Contractor) for an amount of $1,183,292.80 and approved a construction contingency of $266,241 for a total project cost of $1,449,533.80.
The Project was constructed in general conformance with the conformed plans and specifications.
The final Project had no change orders and final project construction cost is $1,075,366.42, the Contractor has submitted the signed final payment certification (Attachment 3).
There is a 5% retention totaling approximately $53,768.32 that will be released to the Contractor no later than 60 days after filing of the Notice of Completion.
Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact with this action.
