Background:

California Senate Bill 707 amends the Ralph M. Brown Act requiring the City of Manteca to adopt a policy outlining how it will respond to telephonic or internet service disruptions that prevent the public from viewing, hearing, or participating during public meetings.

 

The policy must be adopted before July 1, 2026.
