It is recommended that the City Council interview and appoint one applicant, to the Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee to fill the District 1 regular member seat, to be appointed by the District 1 Councilmember with a term ending December 31, 2028.

Background:
COMPOSITION OF COMMISSION:
The Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee (PSSTOC) is composed of five regular members and one alternate. All members are City residents and registered voters.
The Mayor appoints one at-large regular member and one at-large alternate. Each City Council District member appoints one regular member, for a total of six members.
PSSTOC member terms align with the terms of the appointing Mayor or Councilmember.
There is currently one vacancy for the District 1 regular seat.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED:
We received one application that met the minimum requirements of being a resident of the City of Manteca and a current registered voter.
