Background:
City Manager Toni Lundgren launched the first Level Up Leadership Academy in April 2024. The academy is a 10-week program for City of Manteca employees that covers important topics such as Government 101, City finances, public safety, community development, infrastructure and maintenance, and creative problem solving.
Sessions were held weekly from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and were led by members of the City’s Senior Leadership Team and guest instructors. The program included 22 employees to support strong participation and engagement.
All 22 participants have now completed the program. Tonight, the City Council and City Manager recognize these employees for their dedication and achievement in completing the Level Up Leadership Academy:
