Receive a Presentation on the Stockton Takes Action Against Retail Theft (STAART) Program.

Background:
The purpose of the Stockton Takes Action Against Retail Theft (STAART) Program is to address the serious epidemic devastating our business community, costing our business community a tremendous amount of money, time, and future revenue.
The STAART program will leverage existing efforts in combating retail theft in Stockton and San Joaquin County by proactively engaging in activities and actions to mitigate crime.
To optimize the community’s efforts in combating retail theft in Stockton and San Joaquin County, the Chamber was awarded $1.2 Million by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors to effect the regional efforts in battling crime.
The presentation will be given by Frank Ferral and Chrstina Urquieta of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
