Recommendation:

title

Adopt a resolution approving the annual reports for the city’s special maintenance assessment districts for Fiscal Year 2025-26; adopt a resolution declaring its intention to levy and collect assessments within the city’s special maintenance assessment districts for Fiscal Year 2025-26; and setting a public hearing for June 17 on the levy of the proposed assessments for the City’s Benefit Assessment Districts and Landscape Maintenance Districts.

body

Background:

The attached resolution declares the City’s intent to levy annual assessments and approve the FY 2024-25 Engineer’s Report for its Assessment Districts and sets a public hearing for June 17, 2025. These special districts fund enhanced improvements-such as landscaping and drainage-beyond standard City requirements, with costs covered by property owners who were informed of the districts before purchasing their homes.

Fiscal Impact:

This action has no immediate fiscal impact. Future assessments, based on the Annual Engineer’s Report, will fund maintenance, public improvements, utilities, and administration benefiting each district.
