PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The By Any Means Jiu-Jitsu project proposal (“the Project”) requests approval of a Conditional Use Permit application (“the Application”) filed by Al Lagura (the “Applicant”), proposing the establishment and operation of a School, Specialized Education and Training/Studio Use on a ±0.17-acre parcel in an existing ±7,250 sq. ft building. No building expansion is proposed as part of this project.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION:
The proposed Project was determined to be exempt from environmental review pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities). This exemption applies to the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures involving negligible or no expansion of the existing or former use.
