PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Request for one-year extension of an approved Site Plan and Design Review application allowing for a 324-unit apartment complex. The development will contain 156 one-bedroom, 144 two-bedroom, and 24 three-bedroom apartments, with associated parking, lighting and open space. The project will provide fourteen three-story residential buildings, each containing 24 units. A fifteenth building will be a two-story office/clubhouse and a gym.
There are no changes to the site design or project operations. Conditions of Approval have been revised to reflect current Department Policy. Revisions do not alter the site design or operations of the approved uses. Revisions include updated formatting, new Fire Code requirements, and an updated entitlement expiration date.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION:
The project was evaluated and found to be consistent with the Villa Ticino West Final Environmental Impact Report (SCH# 2002072115) and therefore determined statutorily exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15183 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as determined and evidence by Planning Commission Resolution No. 1663.
