Planning Commission continue a noticed public hearing for the SoMa Apartments Project (SPA-21-137), located at 1574 and 1636 S. Main St. (APNs 224-040-04 and -09), to the Planning Commission Regular Meeting of October 15, 2026.

Background Information:
The SoMa Apartments Project requests a one-year extension of an approved Site Plan (SPA-21-137) for a 210-unit apartment complex. The approved development proposes 42 studio, 52 one-bedroom, 92 two-bedroom, and 24 three-bedroom apartments. Ten three-story residential buildings will contain approximately 24 units each. The site will also include a one-story office/clubhouse/gym and a small one-story pool house.
Staff requests that the public hearing be continued to allow sufficient time for City staff complete agenda packet material for the project.
