Background:
The City of Manteca has identified the need for additional community parkland to serve existing and future residents. As growth continues throughout the community, the acquisition of strategically located park property remains a critical component of implementing the City's Parks Master Plan and maintaining adequate recreational opportunities for residents.

In conjunction with the proposed annexation and development of the RAFF 2 industrial project located in North Manteca, the City and RAFF 2, LLC have negotiated a Purchase and Sale Agreement for the acquisition of approximately 60 acres of land located adjacent to Union Road. The acquisition is coordinated with a related Pre-Annexation Agreement and is intended to secure a long-term site for a major community park facility serving the City.
