Background:
The Yosemite Avenue (Walnut Avenue to Main Street) Bike and Pedestrian Improvement Project CIP 20006 ("Project") scope of work includes the installation of bike lanes, curb ramps, enhanced pedestrian crossings, and slurry seal along Yosemite Avenue from Walnut Avenue to Main Street.

The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $602,100.

Staff has reviewed and determined that the Project is Categorically Exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to 14 Cal. Code of Regs. ? 15301(c), Class 1 "Existing Facilities".

A Notice of Exemption will be filed with the San Joaquin County Clerk/Recorder and the State Clearinghouse for the Project within five days of approval pursuant to 14 Cal. Code Regs. ? 15094. Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) have been completed for the Project and are available for review in the Engineering Department.

Fiscal Impact:
There is no General Fund impact or fiscal impact associated with this action.
