Background:
National Health Center Week, observed August 2-8, 2026, recognizes the contributions of Community Health Centers in providing affordable, comprehensive health care to underserved communities. Community Health Centers serve more than 52 million Americans through over 17,000 service locations nationwide. Golden Valley Health Centers has served the Central Valley since 1972 and currently operates 50 locations across Merced, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties, providing more than 786,000 annual patient visits to over 161,000 individuals.
To be presented to Yamilet Valladolid Director of Government and Community Affairs at Golden Valley Health Centers.
