 title

Adopt a resolution accepting a Grant Deed from Mary E. Jardin, as surviving trustee of the Jardin Trust U/D/T dated June 23, 1986 (Jardin), for 18,453 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 1871 S. Main Street (APN 224-023-32).

body

Background:

As a Condition of Approval for the Griffin Park Subdivision, the Developer must install the frontage improvements along 1871 S. Main Street including the southwest corner of the Main Street/Woodward Avenue intersection, which include roadway paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and accessibility ramps. The frontage improvements installation is in accordance with the City’s adopted Transportation Public Facilities Implementation Plan.

To facilitate the installation of the frontage improvements, the Developer needed to acquire right-of-way, on the City’s behalf, on the west side of S. Main Street and at the corner to widen the existing right-of-way.

With this action City Council will accept the dedication from Jardin to allow for installation of the frontage improvements.
