Adopt a resolution approving a Donation and Acquisition Agreement for 1.14 acres of real property being a portion of Assessor Parcel Number 218-210-26 for relocation of Fire Station No. 3, and approving the acceptance of a grant deed conveying to the City of Manteca certain real property interests as described in the Donation and Acquisition Agreement, and authorize the City Manager or designee to sign all necessary documents and take any actions required to carry out the purpose and intent of the transfer.

Background:
The City of Manteca Fire Department has identified the need to replace the existing Fire Station No. 3 due to space constraints, outdated infrastructure, and its inability to accommodate modern firefighting equipment and operational needs.
In coordination with representatives of the 2012 Edward J. Cardoza Sr. and Dolores M. Cardoza Revocable Trust dated December 3, 2012, City staff have been offered a donation of a 1.14 acres being the northern portion of the parcel located at Assessor's Parcel Number 218-210-26 (1250 N. Main Street), which has been determined to be a suitable and strategic location for the replacement fire station.
The offered property is nearly an acre larger than the existing fire station site and provides the space necessary to accommodate the City's current operational requirements and future expansion needs as the community continues to grow. The size and configuration of the parcel will allow for adequate vehicle circulation, modern apparatus bays, on-site training areas, and improved response capabilities to surrounding neighborhoods.
