Adopt a resolution approving an amendment with Tyler Technologies to migrate New World ERP to Software as a Service (SaaS) in an amount not-to-exceed $342,243; approving an agreement with SDI Presence LLC (SDI) for consulting services in an amount not-to-exceed $93,510; approving the purchase of receipt printers in an amount $7,500; approving a project contingency of $20,000 for any unforseen project cost; approving related budget appropriations; and authorizing City Manager or designee to execute the agreements and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.

Background:
The City implemented Tyler Technologies' New World Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in 2012. Since that time, the system has operated on City-managed servers located on-premises. While this structure has supported the City's needs for more than a decade, it requires significant capital investment in hardware and ongoing staff resources to manage upgrades, maintenance, and patching.
As technology has advanced, best practices for ERP systems have shifted toward cloud-hosted platforms. Migrating to Software as a Service (SaaS) provides several advantages:
