Background:
During the Regular City Council Meeting of July 19, 2022, Councilmember Halford with City Council consensus requested a formal Proclamation and Recognition Policy be brought forward for City Council approval.
The Office of the City Clerk reviewed other Cities Proclamation and Recognition Policy’s and drafted a policy appropriate for the City of Manteca.
The proposed policy provides guidelines and procedures for the issuance of proclamations, as well as establish standards for the use and distribution of recognition items.
