Background:
The City Council would like to recognize the following individuals for their time spent on the Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee (CAPAC).
The CAPAC served as one of the primary channels for the community to provide input and make recommendations on the Climate Action Plan Update. CAPAC provided recommendations to City Staff and to the consultant team regarding each of the topics addressed by the Climate Action Plan (e.g., Development Strategies, Recycling Strategies, Energy Conservation, Equitability, etc.).
The CAPAC’s efforts culminated in the City Council’s formal adoption of the Climate Action Plan on November 18, 2025.
