Background:

On May 19, 2020, City Council approved the Improvement Agreement traffic signal modification at the intersection of N. Main Street and Lancaster Drive. This work was required by the Conditions of Approval for the project. The estimated cost of the signal modification work was approximately $172,000.

 

The signal modification has been completed in accordance with the approved plans. Refer to the attached memorandum from the City Construction Inspector (Attachment 3).

 

In accordance with the Improvement Agreement and the City’s Municipal Code, once City Council has accepted the work, the Performance Bond will be exonerated, after the City receives the Warranty Bond. The Labor and Materials Bond can be exonerated six (6) months after the date of acceptance.

 

Fiscal Impact:

There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
