Background:
On May 17, 2016, the City Council approved a Professional Services Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) for $2,804,540 to provide design, Right of Way (ROW) acquisition, Environmental clearance, and engineering services for the SR120/McKinley Avenue Interchange project (CIP #11034). As the project development has progressed, the additional and out-of-scope services are needed for on-going Right of Way (ROW) acquisition with several appraisal updates, PG&E overhang utility easement efforts, and preparation of bid documents and bid supports. The additional and out-of-scope items for this Amendment No. 7 are summarized in Attachment 1 with the total cost, not to exceed, $228,520.76.

Fiscal Impact:
The SR120 / McKinley Avenue Interchange project (CIP #11034) engineering is funded through the Successor Agency / RDA Bond funds (Account 520.00.00.900-8150.41), Federal Funds, and Regional Transportation Impact Fee (RTIF) (Account 430.00.00.900-8150.25). Sufficient funds exist in the accounts for Amendment No. 7 to the Professional Services Agreement. Once construction starts, all remaining funds will be used in combination with Public Facilities Implementation Program (PFIP) and Measure K funds to complete construction. There will be no impact to the General Fund.
