Adopt a resolution ratifying the San Joaquin Council of Government’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 Annual Financial Plan.

Background:
Each year, all cities within San Joaquin County, as well as the County, are presented with San Joaquin Council of Government’s (SJCOG) proposed Annual Financial Plan (Plan) for the upcoming fiscal year. The Joint Powers Agreement between SJCOG and its member agencies require the SJCOG Board to deliver the proposed Plan to the agencies for ratification. The Plan is approved if a majority of SJCOG’s members, representing a majority of the population, approve the ratification.
The City has received a copy of the proposed Plan (Attachment 2), which is being presented to the Council for consideration and SJCOG’s resolution (Attachment 3), adopting the Plan. Lastly, the attached letter (Attachment 4) outlines the changes to the Plan.
Fiscal Impact:
Ratification of the proposed Plan will allow implementation of SJCOG’s work plan for fiscal year 2024-25 and has no direct fiscal impact to the City of Manteca.
